Tasting Saturday March 4th , 2006 at 7:30 PM
Most everyone knows of the benefits of growing Pinot Noir in cool climates but there has also been a lot of talk recently about Merlot. From Russian River, American Canyon to down near San Pablo Bay you will find many fine Merlots being produced. Merlot is an early ripening grape that while traditionally planted in warmer climates thrives in the cooler regions. Come and find out what all the talk is all about. Taste many wonderful Pinot Noirs and Merlots. What better then cool reds on a cool night.
