Next Tasting at The Wine Store  Saturday, February 3 - 7:30 p.m. - Come to the Wine Store, with hosts Dick and Mary Fruehwald, for a repeat of last year's first ever Super Bowl Eve WINE CHALLENGE. It will be Illinois verses Indiana. Battle of the North I-65 verses the South I-65. So to reflect the North vs South matchup we will have a fun wine challenge based on the same theme. Just for fun we will compare an Indiana wine to an Illinois wine and see who comes out a head. Then we will get a chance to some more serious (in a fun way) comparison of Washington/Oregon verses California. If you like, come in your favorite team colors and participate in the ultimate wine sporting event. No performance enhancing products we be allowed. Prizes will be awarded to the most athletic taste buds. Come and POWERTASTE your way to victory. Type of tasting: Fun, casual but educational. Will be a sit down tasting where wines will be tasted blind. Estimated Cost: Cost should be somewhere between 10 and 15 dollars (this can obviously change based on the number of attendees). Expected of you: No need to bring anything other than your expectation to have fun. Supplied: Wine, Food and Fun Attendance Limit: No limit to number of attendees.
